Volunteer

No marshals, no race

A fell duathlon across open moorland only happens because people stand out on it all morning. If you can give us a Sunday, we would be glad to have you.

Roles

Course marshal
Out on the moor or the circuit, pointing the way and keeping an eye on athletes. The role we need most.
Transition
Racking, bike checks in and out, keeping transition safe and orderly.
Registration
Sign-on, race numbers and timing chips at HQ before the start.
Finish & results
The finish funnel, handing out finisher tees and helping with results.
Parking & HQ
Directing arrivals, keeping the venue running, welcoming spectators.
Setup & takedown
Signage, tape and gazebos early on; clearing the moor completely afterwards.

What you get

  • Hot drinks and food on the day
